My name is Stuart Kernaghan. I’m a marketing and communications professional based in North Vancouver, British Columbia. [LinkedIn profile]
I graduated from the University of Victoria with a Master of Arts degree in History, which gave me a solid foundation in research, analysis, writing, editing and strategic communications – highly transferable skills in the marketing world.
Since then, I’ve worked as a marketing and communications manager, business development specialist, web developer, graphic designer, brand manager, media relations / public relations specialist, market sector specialist (marketing manager), communications advisor, photographer and freelance journalist.
I’ve worked in both B2B and B2C marketing environments, for private and public companies and for a non-profit association. I’ve worked at companies with fewer than 10 employees and companies with more than 1,500 employees.
I’ve worn a lot of different hats over my career, which makes me uniquely capable of taking on a wide range of marketing, communications and business development projects and delivering the best results possible.
When I’m not working, you’ll find me riding my mountain bike on the trails around coastal British Columbia, writing about bicycles or travelling somewhere interesting with my camera.
