I designed, wrote content for and built two iterations of the Ventana Construction website. I also built this website, and my photography portfolio at XYphotos.ca. I was part of the team that built the current DIALOG website, and am involved in maintaining the site on an on-going basis.

proposals
I was solely responsible for the design, layout, writing, editing and delivery of all EOIs, RFQs, RPFs and sales presentations while at Ventana, as well as more than two dozen proposals during my time as a proposal specialist at DIALOG. The annual volume of proposals at Ventana was in the $600 – $750 million range; the largest year was in excess of $900 million. Samples are available upon request.

marketing writing
I have written and edited marketing copy for a wide range of audiences in both the B2B and B2C sectors. Samples are available upon request.

advertisements & marketing collateral
I created print and online display ads, as well as marketing collateral, while working at both Ventana and Ritchie Bros. I was responsible for design, artwork and copy in most cases. Samples are available upon request.

strategic market plans & reports
I was responsible for strategic marketing for the US East region while at Ritchie Bros. The position required extensive pre-campaign planning, campaign management, and post-campaign analysis. Samples are available upon request.

freelance writing
I currently write for Canadian Cycling magazine in my spare time. My work has also appeared extensively on NSMB.com, as well as in Dirt Rag magazine and a number of other outdoor and lifestyle magazines. I was the editor for Boards, Boxes, and Bins: S.M. Simpson and the Okanagan Lumber Industry.
